We are the United States of America By
Rachel Ames Life is so precious. I know there is life after death, but this life is all I know. I think about what I would do if I lost my husband and tears welt up. Just imagining the loss of loved ones brings out a deep, dark, forsaken emotion held within the very depths of my soul. Did these terrorists even think about that? Did they realize that we Americans are human beings? To sink so low as to use innocent, naive lives to accomplish their task places them within the greatest evil source this earth can contain. It is one thing to defend; it is another to instigate the evil, relentless thing called war. Those responsible for these actions are cowards beyond the definition. They took their own lives to fulfill this mission. To those standing behind them, this is a very courageous act. To those who lie wounded, weather it be physically or mentally, this is purely an act of extreme violence. But we as Americans will not stand for this. We will find those who are alive and well and responsible for these acts and we will pay them the reward they deserve. We will unite and stand together and prove to those perpetrators that America refuses to allow those people to get to the heart of what we as a nation are. We are the United States of America and we will rise above those trying to wound us. They many be able to take some lives, but they will not succeed in taking America away from us. Stand tall, be strong and have faith. Bind yourselves together. Do not let these atrocious acts of violence have the last word. God bless America.
