North Logan library to mark 10th anniversary in November

October 11, 2006 | NORTH LOGAN -- North Logan City
Library will mark 10 years of community involvement
with an open house on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
The library offers a wide range of activities including
Story Time with Quackers, a half-hour puppet show that
runs Thursdays and Fridays at 11 a.m. and is facilitated
by Library Director Sue Randleman. Also Toddler Time,
book discussion groups and library workshops provide
multiple forms of entertainment and intellectual conversation
for book lovers.
With an extensive book collection ranging from children's
books to college guides, the library offers library
cards to North Logan and Hyde Park residents only. However
in order to use one of the library's eight computers,
cards are not required.
Happenings the night of Nov. 14 will incorporate an
appearance by local author Linda Weaver Clarke. Clarke
will be autographing her new works at 6 p.m.
Youth as well as adults will have a chance to enjoy
native tastes of local restaurants, as well as a chance
to receive a brand new library borrower card through
the course of the evening.
The celebration will last from 5 to 7 p.m. The library
is located at 475 E. 2500 North. For more information
