WELLSVILLE -- Upon entering the only log cabin off 200 East Street in this little town, a person would be welcomed with the amazing sounds of Bliss Mystic.

Bliss Mystic is playing a free concert at a house before two members go on their LDS missions. The band members, who hail from Cache Valley, have a deep past and their music brings out a unique message of love. The music is like a river, like a journey.

Band member Brandon Rogers describes the music as "compositional fantasy improv with a touch of purple bluegrass."

As the band played, there was a feeling of unity in the air. The musicians all seem to have their own styles and the music brings them together. They all came together under that uniting force of unity and love.

The band consists of Wade Evans on guitar and vocals, Dave on guitar, Toe (Tonilyn Bringhurst) on piano, fiddle and back-up vocals, Ryan on percussion, Aaron Brandt on drums, and Brandon Rogers on bass and vocals.

Their creative abilities to produce the music are somewhat of the same mixture. The music writes itself and inspiration is the author of some of the words. All these forces come together to create the final product.

Each performance the band puts on is just as much an adventure for them as it is for the loyal fans who attend the shows. There are no set lists, there is just a free display of pure music and love that you won't encounter at any other shows.

The only message they try to put out is love and they hope they can be positive influences in the lives of others.

"Music is a mission in itself," Rogers said. "It is different from the mission I will be serving for two years."

The show was an experience and something that will be one of my fonder memories of my stint up here at Cache Valley. It was a great experience for all and to get to know the people behind the experience was truly an opportunity I relished.

It was even more of a positive additive when three band members from Bliss Mystic -- Brandon, Wade and Aaron -- stayed up on stage to play a few songs with their Mountain Crest High School band, Tatter McKakkon.

You could really see how they had taken their music to a whole other level with Bliss Mystic.

Though residents of Cache Valley will not be able to see this band for two years due to the fact that band members Aaron Brandt and Brandon Rogers will serving Mormon missions -- one is going to New Jersey, the other to Bristol, England -- you can be sure that if this band wants it, their unconditional love will be welcomed anywhere.
