Career advice:

"Coleridge was a drug addict. Poe was an alcoholic. Marlowe was stabbed by a man whom he was treacherously trying to stab. Pope took money to keep a woman's name out of a satire, then wrote a piece so that she could still be recognized anyhow. Chatterton killed himself. Byron was accused of incest. Do you still want to be a writer -- and if so, why?"

November 8, 2007 | LOGAN-- An armed man robbed Zions First National Bank Monday afternoon, taking a small amount of cash.

Police said they are still looking for the robber who walked in to the Zions bank on 460 N. Main in Logan at 1:30 p.m. and told the teller to give him all the money while displaying a handgun.

The man was described as a white male, approximately 6-feet tall, thinly built, and in his early to mid-40s police said. He was wearing tan safari type hat, a long sleeve shirt, tan cargo pants, and blue shoes.

"We're working on some developing leads and have had a couple people call in," Sgt. Parslow, Logan City PIO Officer, said. "He walked away with under $5,000."

After the police arrived they made a perimeter around the bank using yellow tape and searched some of the near by stores for the suspect.

Bruce Rigby, the branch manager and other Zions Bank employees declined statements.

The Logan City Police department is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect and asked anyone with information to please contact them at 716-9300.
