Nibley hearing on grant for water line not exactly packed

NIBLEY -- Only one resident showed up for Thursday's public hearing on a Community Development Block Grant for Nibley. The city is applying for an $84,300 grant to improve the water line along 3200 South in Nibley. The City Council wanted to hear whether citizens had other ideas about how to use the money, if received. In other business, the council approved two building permits and gave preliminary approval for a minor subdivision. The council scheduled another public hearing for Dec. 2 on the proposed
sewer, which is well into the planning process. |
