Great apes and human star make 'Planet' worth seeing . . . until the ending By
Shawn Wolfley
Tim Burton's remake of Planet of the Apes is great. Mark Walberg is the star of the show, along with 1,000 apes. The makeup on the apes and the different sizes and kinds were unbelievable. The way that the actors in ape costume could move and bounce around as if they were they real thing was amazing. The sound effects and how lifelike they were could not have been better. Everything about the apes just mesmerized me. Within the first 10 minutes of the show the action starts. Some of the lines in the show kind of made me think about our world. We are pretty cruel to one another and we have no idea that we are even doing it. This show has action, comedy and some cruelty. Depending on what you thought of the show when it was on TV will be the decision on whether you will like the movie. There are some parts that will make you think, hey that could never happen. Well, it can -- it's Hollywood, and anything can happen in Hollywood. I don't want to go into to much detail on the show and tell every little thing that happens. I want you to go and see it and make a decision for yourself. When you do go, I want you to listen very closely to the dialogue. There are some seriously funny parts in the show. If I did have to say one thing that I didn't like, it would have to be the ending. Everyone who watches a movie has his or her mind made up what is going to happen at the end of the movie. That is exactly what I did. So when the ending came, I already had an ending in mind that I wanted and it didn't happen. Go in to this movie with a great attitude and you should enjoy the movie. Maybe one day the roles might be reversed and we will be the ones in the cages.
