JCOM grad's video to be broadcast internationally

2006 graduate of the journalism and communication department
at Utah State University, has had a five-minute video
accepted for international broadcast by the Christophers,
a religious organization.
Payne's video, "Attitude is Everything," won honorable
mention in a contest sponsored by the syndicated series
Christopher Closeup. Contestants were urged to create
short, inspirational messages for broadcast.
The video profiles Matt Maw, a USU graduate student
and former gymnast who broke his back and suffered paralysis
while doing a triple back flip.
Payne's video shows how Maw excelled in a tumbling
career at Weber State University, how the accident happened,
and how he constantly overcomes his challenges with
a positive attitude.
Payne lives in the Salt Lake Valley. She produced
the video for an advanced documentary class.
