April 20, 2008 | Like any college campus, Utah State has a plethora of places to grab a meal or just a snack.

When searching for a place to eat, the USU Dining Web page is a great place to look. It gives a list of every place to eat on campus as well as the hours each venue is open. When asked where they prefer to eat, students had a favorite campus spot. Sophomore Allison Jolley said, "Hazel's bread is uber good!" Places like Hazel's bread serve snack sized foods such as slices of bread with a variety of toppings, as well as sandwiches for full meals. Leah Creswell said, "I think the most possible place at the Hub is Hazel's.Everyone enjoys their $1 bread and their Marv 'n Joe's."

Along with Hazel's bread, Aggie Ice Cream is another favortie treat that can be found at the Hub.It is so popular that ice creams can order it online from virtually anywhere. This traditional Aggie treat comes in a variety of flavors including Aggie Blue Mint, Lemon Custard and Strawberry Cheesecake.

Students with less of a sweet tooth can find a variety of other foods in the Hub. Teriyaki Stix provides Asian-inspired dishes for students wanting an exotic flair to their meal. For students with hearty appetitite, a huge hoagie from Hogi Yogi will satifsy their cravings.

With all kinds of different choices, students are bound to have their favorites. The table lists students favorite places from the most popular to least popular:

To keep the Hub working in top condition, dozens of students are hired each year to work at the various food places. The USU job board is always filled with openings for Hub workers. There are jobs in a variety of aread for people with a variety of job skills. The jobs can be anything from doing dishes, to preparing food, to working the carsh registers.

Creswell said the Hub is great place to work because they work well with your schedule so you never miss class. "You also get to eat one free meal in the Marketplace averyday you work," Creswell said. Her schedule is mainly afternoons and Creswell said working weekends is optional. The close proximity to campus also makes this an ideal place to work for most students.

If students are in need of a good meal or a good job, the Hub is one stop shopping.
