Preliminary
hearing set for suspect in forgery and identity fraud

April 28, 2008 | LOGAN -- Jesus Pedraza-Martinez, Logan,
was given a court-appointed attorney by Judge Clint
S. Judkins Thursday afternoon.
Attorney David M. Perry was appointed as his representative.
Pedraza-Martinez has been charged with five third-degree
felonies of forgery, two second-degree felonies of identity
fraud, and two charges of third-degree felonies for
possession of a forgery writing device. He also was
charged with a class-C misdemeanor for not having a
valid driver's license.
Pedraza-Martinez was scheduled for a preliminary hearing
at 9 a.m. Wednesday in front of Judge Thomas L. Willmore.
He will be held without bail until that time.
