Peabody Trio performs with notable emotion

By Steven Day

The award-winning ensemble The Peabody Trio performed at the Eccles Conference Center on Friday.

The Trio put on a very good performance, playing with the emotion that.Beethoven or Brahms might have played with.

All in all, if you like classical music, I think that you would have enjoyed the Peabody Trio. If you're not much into classical music the concert would have been amusing at best.

The Trio consists of a pianist, Seth Knopp; violinist, Violaine Melancon; and cellist, Natasha Brofsky.

The Trio has performed all over the world. Its members serve as the resident faculty ensemble of the Peabody conservatory in Baltimore and are ensemble-in-residence at the Yellow Barn Music School and Festival in Putney, Vt., during their summers.
